What happens to the dancers who perform with Duchy Ballet?
Some of them go on to have professional careers.
Adam Ling played the part of the wicked magician, von Rothbart,
in Swan Lake and also danced in the Act I Pas de Trois and
the Spanish dance in Act III. He has been coached by Terence
Etheridge at the Dance College of Cornwall. In September he
joined Vienna Festival Ballet and has been touring in Mr.
Etheridge’s production of Coppelia.
Five girls have decided to continue further training at,
variously, the Dance College of Cornwall, Arts Educational
School, Tring and in Essen, Germany.
