Sunshine from the Duchy Ballet
After all the awful news with which we have been bombarded
recently, I am glad to say that I spent a couple of hours
in the 'sunshine' at the Hall For Cornwall.
I went to see the Duchy Ballet presentation of Coppelia. It
reinforced my view of the amount of talent we have here in
Cornwall and how lucky we are to have such a grand hall in
which to stage it.
This production was as polished as the one televised direct
from the Royal Opera House last year, but was more enjoyable
for me because I was seeing it live from the Hall's 'royal'
seating.
Coppelia is such an endearing favourite, with non-stop dancing
from curtain-up to curtain-down.
